One of the biggest challenges for church boards, pastoral bodies and christian organizations is how to discerns God´s will on a daily basis. Good protocols and rules developed over the years often prevent christian organization for mistaken God´s will by guarding their human emotions and thougths from leading the organization on critical matters like leadership sins, missmanagement and spiritual abuse. However, they are inssuficient because with time they become like a pharisee law. We have a lifestuyle manual in the Bible, but the letter kills while the Spirit brings life. Ruth Haley Barton help us in this unique book to learn the process of discerment of God´s will. A must read for all servant leaders.
